The Civic Trust for Wales and the Institute of Historic Building Conservation announce a special event in the historic environment sector calendar. Organised in partnership with Cadw, the Welsh Assembly Government’s historic environment service, this one-day conference will offer opportunities for delegates to debate priorities within historic environment policy and strategy, together with the scope and implications of the impending reform of heritage protection legislation. Minister for Heritage, Rhodri Glyn Thomas AM will be in attendance, offering delegates a valuable opportunity to discuss communications, themes and challenges affecting the Welsh historic environment.

The event will feature a funding road show and an opportunity to to display a limited number of recent publications.
Treftadaeth will take place at the Wales Millennium Centre, Cardiff between 10 am and 4 pm. The conference fee is £10 (voluntary sector) and £40 (public and private sector). Full conference information and booking forms will be published in early March at www.treftadaeth.org.uk.
